Gel infusion screen system for additional waterproofing of various types of masonry with share of secondary raw materials
Melichar, Jindřich ; Klečka,, Tomáš (referee) ; Dohnálek,, Pavel (referee) ; Novotný, Miloslav (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
Virtually any construction project in our climate zone is facing some form of moisture. Older and historical buildings are mostly affected by the negative impact of water. Previously, the additional reduction of the moisture was executed only by mechanical methods, pushing insulating sheets or breaking through and cutting of masonry. Over time chemical methods were also invented, which are compared to the mechanical considerably simpler and user friendly applications to statics of treated buildings, making them ideal for the treatment of historical buildings or buildings that would not bear significant disruption. The main principle of chemical methods of redevelopment of wet masonry is the application of special material into the line of drilled holes with a given pitch. Subsequent penetration of the grouting material is believed to intersect an arc of individual drill holes, and thus to create so-called grout curtain that prevents the accumulation of water above it. Injection material may also contain a proportion of secondary raw materials, thereby reducing the influence of the impact of production on the environment. Efficiency infusion materials in masonry affected by many factors, such as temperature, humidity, or the type of material treated. It is also an important factor to determine the effectiveness of the remediation of the material, proving its ability to penetrate the building material by identifying its presence in it.

Development of new technology of sand autoclaved aerated concrete with using of secondary raw materials
Ondříčková, Pavlína ; Suchý, Peter (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
Autoclaved sand aerated concrete is a modern building material with high thermal insulation properties. Only sand is used as the primary silicate component of aerated concrete in the Czech Republic. For the more favourable economic and ecological properties of aerated concrete, the use of secondary raw materials is used in this work. The secondary raw materials examined included fluidized bed and fly ash, slag and glass recycled. The aerated concrete composite with secondary admixtures was developed under hydrothermal conditions of a laboratory autoclave for 7 and 12 hours at 190°C. From the secondary raw materials tested, a 10% glass recycler additive yielded the highest strength. Other additives that have a positive effect on mechanical properties include SAKO and Oslavany. From the results of the work it is evident that the use of secondary raw materials increases the strength, improves the rheology of the mixture and supports the formation of tobermorite.
The technology of aerated concrete
Koutný, Ondřej ; Repka, Martin (referee) ; Opravil, Tomáš (advisor)
Civil engineering is integral part of industry in each developed country. Naturally the construction point does not play the main role here, but also the material of building segments. In last fifty years the new possibility has been discovered against classic brick in form of autoclaved aerated concrete. This material gathers its customers not only due to low weight and easy application with sufficient strength, but particularly due to excellent heat-insulation properties. Contemporary trend in research of aerated concrete points to application of alternative raws, as for example metakaoline, to improve final properties of product by preserving of current technology and price.

Šplíchalová, Kateřina ; Uher, Pavel (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
The aim of this Master's thesis is to design an energy-efficent primary art school in Dolní Bučice. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part, an architectural and construction design of the building is carried out. The building has two above-ground floors. The structure features a flat roof with photovoltaic panels. The ground floor includes a teacher's office, classrooms, a changing room, a technical room, a concert hall, and related facilities for performers. The second floor includes, teacher's offices, classrooms, and a small kitchen. The load-bearing envelope walls are design from aerated concrete blocks, while the internal load-bearing walls are made of acoustic limestone sand blocks. The floor and roof structures are reinforced concrete monolithic or made of prefabrica-ted ceiling elements. In the second part, the concept of HVAC systems is proposed. Water supply, heating and cooling are provided by a four ground-source heat pumps. The building is mechanically ventilated by three air-handling units located in the technical room situated on the first floor. The building is connected to the existing water supply system and sewage. Electricity is generated by photovoltaic panels or drawn from the power grid. The third part focuses on the functionality and analysis of photovoltaic panels related on an existing building. The work is based on data from the Malina mobile application. The research compares actual data with supplier data and focuses on the return on investment.
